you are praying alone, and your spirit is dejected, and you are wearied
and oppressed by your loneliness, remember then, as always, that God
the Trinity looks upon you with eyes brighter than the sun; also all the
angels, your own Guardian Angel, and all the Saints of God. Truly they
do; for they are all one in God, and where God is, there are they also.
Where the sun is, thither also are directed all its rays. Try to
understand what this means.

this not a shame and is this not a great misfortune if, after Christ
has delivered us from hell by His own Blood and after we have heard all
this, we should again go and throw ourselves into hell? Are we not in
this case deserving of yet greater and more powerful torture?
May
the Lover of mankind, God, have mercy on us and grant us heedfulness,
so that we might understand all this and profit by it, that we might
obtain at least a small portion of God’s mercy.

Risen Christ we celebrate these days is the firstborn from the dead,
our firstborn and greatest brother who arose, triumphing over death, sin

conquer death, the sin and the devil. This is our greatest solace, our
only hope. By the birth from our parents we are humans. With our Baptism
we became Christians. With our resurrection, first the spiritual one
from sin and then the bodily one at the appointed time, we will live

Father-Thank
you for posting this touching portrait of a religious. Having attended a
Catholic grade school-I never witnessed this form of prayer and
serenity in a nun. More people, Catholics and non-Catholics need to
realize how beautiful and appealing the consecrated life can truly be.

anything else, we must carefully observe the gospel command which says
that we should go into our room and pray to our Father with the door
shut. We shall fulfill this in the following way. We pray in our room
when we withdraw our hearts completely from the clatter of every thought
and concern and disclose our prayers to the Lord in secret and, as it
were, intimately. We pray with the door shut when, with closed lips and
in total silence, we pray to the searcher not of voices but of hearts.

that when do we are giving God our hearts and that he receives them with

the community Mass this morning I again felt an overpowering desire to
become a saint. It came suddenly, filling my soul with consolation.
Surely God has an object in inspiring me so often with this desire, and
has great graces for me if I will only cooperate with Him.
Reflecting
on this inspiration afterwards, I saw more clearly that the chief thing
God wants from me at present is an extraordinary and exquisite
perfection in every little thing I do, even the odd Hail Marys of the
day; that each day there must be some improvement in the fervour, the
purity of intention, the exactness with which I do things, that in this
will chiefly lie my sanctification as it sanctified St. John Berchmans. I
see here a vast field for work and an endless service of mortification.
To keep faithfully to this resolve will require heroism, so that day
after day I may not flag in the fervour of my service of the good God.

Compartido públicamente. - 3 may. 2015Answer:
You yourselves are at fault. You made poor use of the good priest, and
the Lord took him away. Tell me, did you become better from your
previous good priest? Here you falter to say, “Yes.” But I from a
distance shall say that you did not become better, judging by the fact
that you are judging the new priest, not knowing how to control your
feelings in relation to him as you should. Indeed, you had a good priest
even before this good priest who has now departed from you, and the one
before him was good too. You see how many good priests the Lord has
sent you; but you all have not become any better for it. And here He has
decided: why waste good priests on these people? I’ll send them one not
so good. And He did. Seeing this, you should have at once paid
attention to yourself, to repent and improve, but you just judge and
keep judging over and over again. Improve yourselves, and then the
priest will at once be changed. He will think: “With these people I
cannot carry out my holy work carelessly; I must serve reverently and
conduct edifying conversations.” And he will mend his ways. If priests
are negligent and hurried in serving the services and are trivial in
conversations, then most of the time it comes from conforming to the
parishioners.
Saying this, I am not justifying the priest. He has
no excuse, if he tempts the souls entrusted to him not only with action
against the ustav but even unwise action according to the ustav. But I
say only what is more useful for you to do in the given case. And the
most important thing I have already said: do not judge, but pay
attention to yourselves and improve yourself both in prayer and in
conversation, and in all your behavior. Pray for this with all your
heart, that the Lord will correct the priest. And He will correct him.
Only pray properly. The Lord said, that if two agree about anything and
will begin to pray, then they will have their request (Matt. 18:19). So
all you right-thinking parishioners gather together and decide to pray
for the priest; join fasting to your prayer and redouble your
almsgiving; and do this not just for a day or two, but for weeks,
months, a year. Labor and afflict yourself with brokenness so long as
the priest has not changed. And he will change; be certain that he
will.
